EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
The Directorate of Higher Education, Education Department, Government of Sikkim invites application in a prescribed format from the local eligible candidates for filling up of the posts of Assistant Professors on Ad-hoc capacity in the subjects mentioned below on a consolidated pay of Rs.30,0001- pm for the Academic Session 2020- 21.
Subjects
(a) Age Limit: Should not be more than 40 years of age as on 31.04.2021
2. Mode of Selection:
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the merit of the marks obtained in the interview.
3. Eligibility Conditions;
(i) Masters Degree in concerned subjects with minimum of 50% at Masters Degree Level for T/SCIDifferently abled (physically & visually) candidates and 55% for candidates belonging to general categories.
(ii) NET/SLET/Ph.D. Compulsory for all the subjects
4. Application in a prescribed form along with Admit Card which can be downloaded from Departmental webportal www.sikkimhrdd.org. and should be submitted in Room No. 512 of Education Department.
5. Last date of submission of application form 26th April till 3:00 pm.
6. No application will be accepted after the due date.
7. Issue of Admit Card :28th April Date of interview: 29th April
8. Venue: Nar Bahadur Bhandari Degree College, Tadong
9. Applicants must bring all the original documents at the time of submission of applications form for scrutiny.
10. Photocopies of Masters Degree/NET/SLET/Ph.D., COl/required.
11. This appointment is temporary in nature and purely on ad-hoc basis and till the end of academic session 2020-21 or till the appointment of regular candidate, whichever is earlier. They shall not confer any right to regularization later on.
12. No TAjDA is admissible for attending the interview.
