Notice_for walk-in-interview_to_the post of_JuniorResidentonAdhoc_Basis
Applications are invited for filling up the vacant posts of Junior Residents in Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi-110002 on_adhoc basis. The appointment shall be initially for 89 days extendable upto a maximum of one year on the basis of satisfactory work and conduct report from the concerned HOD and written request from J concerned and subject to vacancy position. The interview shall be held on 10.04.2023 in Room No. 007,
Conference Room of this hospital.
I. The details are as under:
The tentative numbers of vacancies are Twenty Five (25) and may vary as per actual requirement and vacancy available. In case the numbers of applicants are more the interview will be carried out in subsequent days, excluding Sunday and Holiday if any.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR RESIDENT (Non-PG):•
II. Qualifications:- MBBS degree from recognized University/Institute. candidate should not have completed one year Junior Residency from any Govt. Hospital.
III Age Limit:- As on 01.01.2023 shall be 30 years for General and EWS candidates, 35 years in case
of SC/ST and 33 years in case of OBC candidates. However if sufficient number of eligible candidates as per this criteria are not available, the relaxation as per Circular No. F.No
121/26/201 0/H&FW/OSHFW/1996-2045 dated 10.06.2011 of Government of NCT of Delhi shall be admissible and the maximum age limit shall be 40 years, irrespective of category.
In case of non availability of fresh candidates, as per the relevant scheme, candidates may be
considered in terms of relaxation of provision as per circular no. F121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045 dated 10.06.2011 of Deptt. of H&FW, GNCT of Delhi with the following relaxation:•
1. Upper age limit for eligibility for JR will be 40 years.
2. In case of non availability of fresh candidates, the candidates who have completed 01 year of Junior Residency may also be allowed to appear in the interview as fresh candidates.
3. Separate merit list would be prepared for the candidates who have completed their residency of 0f year.
4. Firstly the list containing the names of the fresh candidates would be exhausted for the appointed and the second list would be used only after that.
5. All appointment of residents from the second list will be for 01 year only, it would not be renewable after one year.
IV. In respect of OBC candidates, only those candidates who possess OBC certificate issued by
GNCT of Delhi will be considered eligible. ,
V. Pay Scale:- Pay Matrix of Level no.10 as per 7" CPC, Basic pay Rs.56100/- and other admissible allowances per month.
VI. Only those candidates who have completed their internship after 01.01.2019 and before
10.04.2023 are eligible.
VII Candidate must bring the original certificates i.e. MBBS/MDIMS/DNB Degree, Internship Compl Certificate, DOB Certificate (Matriculation). DMC registration and experience certificate, if any, for verification at the time of interview. DMC acknowledgment will be accepted for interview and candidate
if selected will only be taken on strength on providing valid DMC certificate.
VIII Appointment will be subject to verification' of certificates of educational qualification/age/DMC
registration and internship completion certificate etc.
IX. Junior Residents who have completed one year of Junior Residency shall also be allowed to appear in
the interview and will be offered residency on adhoc basis. However, those who have already
completed two years of Junior Residency in any government hospital will not be considered for interview. ;'
X. No TA/DA shall be paid to all those who are appearing in the interview.
XI. There is no fee for appearing in the interview. ;"
XII Interested and eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed application format along with self attested photocopies of date of Birth Certificate, educational qualification, DMC registration certificate, internship certificate, Caste/Category certificate (if applicable) should reach in the E-I, Branch, Administrative Block, Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi-110002.
XIII Selected candidates shall be allowed to join immediately failing which the offer shall stand automatically cancelled. Hence, only those candidates who can join immediately need to apply.
XIV. The candidates will be selected on the basis of interview only and Selection will be made strictly on merit basis only.
XV. The prospective candidates should visit the notice Board of Additional Medical Superintendent (Admin) regularly for any/all updates in the matter if in case the website of Lok Nayak Hospital is under maintenance.
XVI. The decision of chairman, selection board will be final in case of any dispute of any nature and his
decision will be binding on the candidates appearing for interview.
Terms and_conditions of contractual appointment

1. Junior Residents are entitled for 2% days leave for one complete calendar month. No leave other than this will be granted.
2. L TC, Pensionary benefits, Group Insurance, Study Leave and Child Care Leave are not admissible
However, Maternity leave will be granted as per the provisions of the Maternity Benefits (Amendment) Act 2017, to the appointed female Junior Residents.
3. The contract may be terminated by either side with 10 days notice or salary in lieu thereof. The
selection is purely on tenure basis and does not confer any right for regularization or permanent absorption.
4.Private practice of any kind is not allowed. ;;
5. Other conditions of service will be governed by the orders issued/endorsed from time to time by
Government of NCT of Delhi. :
Jurisdiction of Dispute: In case of any leg~l dispute the jurisdictions of Courts will be Delhi/New
Delhi only.
